The SAHIB Competitor Series was not created from a desk.

Before its official release, this kimono was already being worn by SAHIB athletes on the competition circuit — including IBJJF, UAEJJF, and World Pro events, with athletes going on to earn medals.

Now, we're putting that same competition-built construction into the hands of every athlete.

450 GSM PEARL WEAVE JACKET

The jacket is constructed from 450 GSM Pearl Weave cotton, giving it the structure and durability expected from a serious competition gi while keeping it practical for regular training.

It has enough substance to hold its shape through hard rounds without turning the kimono into unnecessary weight.

REINFORCED WHERE IT MATTERS

The difference is in the construction.

High-stress areas are hand-finished with an additional layer of fabric on the inside, followed by reinforced stitching and protective piping.

This added internal construction strengthens the areas that experience repeated pulling, gripping, and tension during training and competition.

It's not reinforcement added for appearance.

It's built into the kimono.

10OZ RIPSTOP PANTS

The Competitor Series pairs the Pearl Weave jacket with 10oz ripstop pants, selected for the demands of modern BJJ.

The pant construction receives the same attention to stress areas, with additional internal reinforcement and protective piping designed to strengthen the seams while maintaining the freedom of movement needed for guard work, passing, scrambling, and takedowns.

COMPETITION NOTE

For competition use, the finished uniform must comply with the rules of the specific event.

The current IBJJF uniform rules permit white, royal blue, and black gis, require a woven cotton or cotton-like fabric, and specify requirements for uniform color, patches, measurements, and construction.
